Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog
and the Upper Ceiriog Valley

The small village of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog nestles at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains where the River Ceiriog runs down from the hills, to the fertile valley floor.

Chirk & The Ceiriog Valley
Y Waun A Dyffryn Ceiriog

Glyn Ceiriog to Pandy

The moise of the winding gear on the inclined plane is stilled; no longer does the siren call the mill workers and quarry workers to work; the hoot of the tramway engine is no more. Yet Glyn Ceiriog is very much alive with the village population getting along purposefully with life beside the fast flowing Ceiriog, amidst the peace of the enfolding hills.

The Ceiriog Trail

A 23 mile circular trail, with shorter options, for competent horse riders. It can also be used by mountain bikers and walkers. Be aware that much of the terrain is rugged and exposed and that the weather can change suddenly.
