Caroline Sanger-Davies grew up in Hawarden (born in 1967, now aged 34), and then moved to Worcester to do her degree in English and Drama. Her first job was as Marketing Officer at Buxton Opera House. She then moved down to Cheltenham to manage Press & PR for the Music and Literature Festivals. Following that she moved to Hereford Theatre as Marketing Manager. In 1996 she took on the role of Theatre Manager and then Development Director at Liverpool Playhouse, followed by a brief stint at the Liverpool Everyman Theatre. To gain some experience outside the arts she moved to Alton Towers in 1998, as Operations Manager.

Her husband Chris and Caroline have bought a house in the Tanat Valley, which is a beautiful location, and they are looking forward to settling into the area.
