Jeremy Knibbs, newly appointed STVEI Officer for the Dee Valley suffers the ultimate in intimidation at the wrong end of two sharp swords held by two very fierce Welsh warriors.
The History Festival, to be held in Llangollen on Sat & Sun 18th / 19th May at the Royal International Pavilion field is a new Llangollen Tourism Association and Royal International Pavilion cooperative venture.
There will be parades and skirmishes around the town with authentic reenactments and costumes from the 10th Century to Napoleonic times.
It promises to be an interesting, educational, colourful and exciting weekend - try to make time to be there to see this spectacle in the beautiful settings of the Dee Valley at Llangollen. Bring the children, theyll love the mock battles, its like being on a film set and youre in the front row.... and dont forget the camera!
Jointly organised by Llangollen Tourism Association and the Royal International Pavilion with help from many reenactment societies its a weekend not to be missed.
